Smart CEOs trust these 5 firms for the best cybersecurity in Amsterdam
A few months ago, what started as a normal workday took a sharp turn. We clicked on what appeared to be a routine email link to review a proposal, but it turned out to be a phishing scam.
That one click quickly led to our systems being compromised, putting our digital assets at risk. The panic set in fast.
That experience taught us a valuable lesson: having the right cybersecurity experts on your side is absolutely essential. So, we set out to find the most reliable companies available.
If you’re a business in Amsterdam looking to keep your data safe, here are the cybersecurity companies we turned to when things went south—each one proven, reliable, and ready to have your back too.
How much do cybersecurity services cost in Amsterdam? Cybersecurity services in Amsterdam typically cost between €50 and €200 per hour. However, prices can increase based on the scope and complexity of the services. These services may include managed security and vulnerability assessments. |
1. Pro CISO® Cybersecurity

Address: Gustav Mahlerplein 28, 1082 MA
Contact Details: +31 20 211 7467
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pro Ciso® Cybersecurity isn’t just another cybersecurity company. They’re like having your own chief information security officer, along with a team of experts.
From our experience, their M365 security service really stood out. As a certified Microsoft AI Cloud Partner, they provide this as a managed service that simplifies the task of protecting your cloud environment safely.
With their free one-month trial, we were impressed to get our report back in just 48 hours.
Another thing we particularly appreciate is their continuous assessment and remediation (CA/CR) approach. Instead of dumping a huge to-do list on you, they focus on the biggest risks first and scale your security as you grow.
However, their heavy focus on CA/CR is both a strength and a potential weakness. It’s great for structure, but leaning too heavily on one method could limit their flexibility when new threats emerge.
Regardless, starting at only €4,990 per month, we find Pro Ciso as a budget-friendly option for those serious about protecting their digital assets.

2. Secura

Address: Herikerbergweg 15, 1101 CN
Contact Details: +31 88 888 3100
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
We recently checked out Secura, a cybersecurity company that has been operating in Europe since 2000. They’re not just based in Amsterdam, but they’ve built a strong presence across the region.
What really stood out to us was their social awareness training. Instead of sending out basic fake phishing emails, they create real-life scenarios that feel urgent and stressful, just like real attacks. This even includes phone calls aimed at tricking employees into sharing sensitive information.
We also found their red teaming services for Operational Technology (OT) to be quite impressive. They delve deeper than most, seeking out hidden risks and conducting comprehensive cyberattack simulations in a secure environment.
While they offer comprehensive services, such as Red Teaming, some smaller companies may find the offerings too general or not easily scalable to their size or budget.
Additionally, they don’t offer 24/7 security monitoring, which is a significant drawback.
Exceeds expectations in critical security projects
“We worked with Secura for a very critical project for Product Security at Philips. The entire team was very knowledgeable and excited to deliver the outcome. The team also went beyond what we had requested and advised us to make corrections through the course of the project which we really appreciated. I will partner with Secura for any of my regulatory requirements be it gap assessments or audits.”

Provides excellent cybersecurity expertise

3. Hadrian

Address: Leidseplein 1, 1017 PR
Contact Details: +31 20 793 0430
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
We’ve been using Hadrian for a while now, and overall, it’s been a solid experience.
The company was started by two teenagers, Rogier and Olivier, who were curious about pushing the limits of digital systems. That spark led to a fast-growing cybersecurity platform that actually delivers.
What really impressed us is how dynamic their system is. They use even-based scanning, which means it constantly monitors and reacts to new threats as they occur.
We also appreciated how they handle third-party risk. Hadrian pulls and organises data from over 10,000 SaaS tools.
Another significant advantage: their service terms and liability coverage are clearly outlined from the start. For example, they explicitly state that they’re not liable for indirect damages, such as lost profits or data loss, which helped us understand the limits upfront.
However, we found their rescanning process to be really inconvenient. To verify if an issue has been resolved, one will need to disable and re-enable integrations, as there’s no straightforward “rescan” button. It’s honestly very time-consuming.
Very solid solution
“Very solid solution, highly recommend”

4. WebSec

Address: Keurenplein 41, UNIT A6260, 1069 CD
Contact Details: +31 85 002 3061
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
What began in 2018 as a pseudonym on HackerOne, WebSec grew into a fully operational security company by 2020.
We had the opportunity to try their WiFi penetration test. This involved a detailed examination of our wireless network setup, which could have become entry points for hackers if left unchecked.
Their virus scanner tool is also worth mentioning. Although it’s not free and requires payment for API access, it allows you to scan files for threats securely without the fear of those files being leaked.
A tech-savvy friend of ours swears by their DigID pentest. It’s specifically designed to assess the security systems linked to the country’s digital ID platform. From what we’ve seen, it’s one of the most thorough compliance checks available.
They’ve even been awarded the CCV pentest quality mark, a Dutch certification that verifies their penetration testing meets strict national standards.
But it is also noteworthy that they are still a growing company, so some tools are still being developed, and their services can be expensive.
Offers thorough VAPT and remediation support
“We had a great experience working with WebSec for our VAPT assessment. Joel was incredibly professional, responsive, and thorough throughout the process. The findings were clearly explained, and the remediation support was top-notch. Highly recommend their services!”
- Himanshu Rastogi, Google Review
Builds long-term protection and awareness
“We have been a WebSec customer for 3 years, during which time we have always had a safe feeling thanks to various security attacks being carried out on our systems every month. In addition, also promoting security awareness of the staff. This is done by sending phishing emails and checking on location to see if information can be obtained. Always a clear report based on the results and proposals for promoting security. It has always been a great collaboration.”

5. Securify

Address: Naritaweg 132, 1043 CA
Contact Details: +31 20 820 4516
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
We first came across Securify on a hectic day when security was not a top priority, but they completely changed that mindset.
Their team has conducted more than 1000 code reviews, carefully analysing source code to identify weaknesses before they cause issues, all while keeping your development process running smoothly.
We gave their code review service a try, and we were impressed by the level of detail they provided.
Surprisingly, they were able to identify vulnerabilities in our code that we hadn’t noticed. This includes the tricky parts written in Go that keep our backend running smoothly and the Swift code powering key features on our mobile apps.
We also heard from a healthcare client who had great things to say about the Zorro test. Through this, hospitals can pinpoint weak spots that traditional methods might overlook.
Additionally, Securify’s scenario-based pentest exceeds the typical checklist. It really helps strengthen areas we hadn’t even thought about before.
But unlike other companies on this list, their expertise is limited to pentesting, security, and red teaming.
Delivers unmatched quality of work
“A top-notch welcome, impeccable service and a quality of work that cannot be found anywhere else. Highly recommended for all agents wishing to train and gain experience in the field of security agents. President of the company, thank you.”
